Gabrielle's calm and measured demeanor is a valuable asset in the occasionally emotionally turbulent waters of family and employment law.
She received her law degree from the University of Victoria. Her participation in the law faculty's co-operative education program provided her with valuable experience in a variety of legal and policy venues.
Gabrielle's education and experience have equipped her with excellent research skills. She has worked with the West Coast Leaf (Women's Legal Education & Action Fund), the British Columbia Ministry of Justice, West Coast Environmental Law, the Indian Residential Schools Adjudication Secretariat and the British Columbia Securities Commission.
Gabrielle was born in Nanaimo and has spent most of her life on Vancouver Island. She is committed to the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Nanaimo Citizen Advocacy Association. Before joining Candid Legal, Gabrielle was an associate with a full service local law firm where she practiced in civil litigation and family law.
