Sabrina received her legal education at the University of Victoria, where she also participated in national legal debate competitions as both a team member and, later, student coach. The team she coached was recognized for the quality of its written submissions. Other leadership roles and recognition she received include serving as team lead on an employment related pro bono project, and placing as a finalist in a negotiation competition. She also taught the Law School Admissions Test to aspiring law students.
Sabrina completed a Bachelor of Arts at Simon Fraser University with a joint concentration in Economics and Latin American Studies. She represented her institution at international student leadership conferences as both a team member and, later, as team lead, and represented her peers as Student Society President and numerous other student leadership positions.
Sabrina is a member of the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association, a Director on the Board of the Nanaimo Women's Centre, the Secretary of the Nanaimo Alternative Dispute Resolution Bar Association Group, and a member of several other Bar Association Groups.

Outside of the office, Sabrina enjoys Nanaimo and Vancouver Island’s great outdoors with her friends and family. She is an avid hiker and biker, and her current ambition is to learn how to sail. She has traveled extensively and has lived in Majorca, Prague and Edinburgh and hopes to one day visit South Africa.
